I am searching for the death of my Great Grandmother in Northern Ireland around 1940 to 1960. A large time gap as I have photos of her up to around 1940 but family stories say she lived to 99 which would put her death around 1956/57 but despite scouring record books I cannot find it. I know she remarried in 1902 to a man called Nixon and moved from the Stillorgan area up to Downpatrick following the death of her 1st husband Thomas Roberts in 1901. She is seen in the Belfast Newsletter Paper laying the memorial stone in the war memorial in Downpatrick as she lost her sons in the 1st World war, at least three of them. Does anyone have her in their family tree or know anything else about her? Thanks Angela |
