I have both parents dying before 1871, so I don't think that is them.
William dies in 1868 and Elizabeth in 1863, hence the younger members of the family have moved in with an older brother (James) in 1871.

Could this be the parents in 1881?

Just noticed that Jacob Rosser and family are at 22 Chapel St Aspull in 1891 and the Gulivers are at 16 Chapel St.

I'm still at the moment ruling out the Gulliver one, because of Eliza's age, surname being Rodgers and the fact I have her dying in the 1860's.

I think this is Thomas in 1901, a wdow with children living with daughter Jane.

That's Thomas' mother in 1881-not Elizabeth's.

If you can hang on for a while someone may be able to help with the marriage cert. It's on FMPast but my clunky old computer doesn't want to open the image.

Ok scrap that idea. Started typing before MaureeninNY posted.

I don't think the Gulliver one is correct because Elizabeth's mother would have been much older in 1881. She was born circa 1815 and I have her down as dying in 1863 but strangely one of Elizabeth's brothers did move to Aspull in the late 1870's.

The Wheeler one looks more convincing, so perhaps I shall try and investigate this further. I'm not sure how I can prove this though because the marriage certificate should I order it will just confirm the fathers name as William and its not a rare name I think.

The marriage to Alfred WHEELER gives Elizabeth ROSSER's fathers name as John so I think we can rule that one out.

Have you looked for marriages for her, and then looked for the married couple in the subsequent censuses?

Have you looked to see if she is in anyone's tree on here, and then made contact to see if they know what happened to her?

I am trying to find out what happened to the youngest member of this line of my family. She was born in Trevethin, Monmouthshire in 1857 to William & Elizabeth.

I have her in the 1861 with parents and siblings, and also in 1871 (originally mis-transcribed as Elizabeth Prosen), due to parents deaths living in her brothers house with two other brothers, but that is where the trail runs cold.

I have no more information on her and was wondering whether anyone could suggest anything.
