Right so this is a hard one looking for Richard Marshall Born in Yorkshire lived in leeds moved to Canada fort William had his son harry (mayb more children) who was in the army and came back to Yorkshire when he was serving to visit he then went back to fort William Canada marrid his childhood sweetheart and had had two sons and then the conection was lost the Marshall link is that my grate grandad James entwistle 2nd wife was ethal Marshall I think her dad was another Richard Marshall and his wife Emily dates to follow ....any info on lookin at records in Canada or were he would of got boats to Canada Liverpool docks mayb? More info to follow dates ect

As the second wife of James, ( the details of first marriage are all on Adelle's Entwistle thread for ref). You really do need the marriage cert for her age and father, especially as there seem to have been children to the marriage? can you confirm that Adelle please?

Not exactly Jacqueline, the first marriage is on this thread ( link below) James to Lily , Barbara their daughter is ( I think) adelle's grandmother, but since Lily died young this is a second marriage for James so in effect a seperate family,
