In 1871 John and Emily Gorham are not living at that address (if I've found the correct ones) |

The names and ages from the 1871 and 1861 I have found all match up so I do think they are the same family |

The above were my Great Grandparents on Paternal side. I have Census details that fit in 1901 and 1911 living in 16 Boxley Road. He was a fruit dealer buying fruit in Kent and having it transported to London Markets. She was a sweet packer in Toffee Factory ( I suspect Trebor Sharps factory in Maidstone) I purchased a wedding certificate which shows they were married in St Pauls Church Maidstone in November 1874. i know Eliza was born in Sutton Valence, near Maidstone. Fathers were Stephen Parker (senior) and her father was John Waghorn - Stephen Junior resides at 29 Peel Street Maidstone and Eliza at 27 Peel Street at time of marriage..Witnesses were John and Emily Gorham- Emily (nee Parker) was Stephens sister and my great aunt. |
