Trying to track the lives of Robert George Anderson and his wife Mary Jamieson (born 1757 and 1759). They lived and worked on Panlathy Farm in Arbirlot, Forfarshire and their first of five children was born 1791. I suspect therefore they were married sometime in late 1780's. Can anyone help in finding an exact date of marriage ? Bill Borton. (Mornington, Vic. Australia) |

First child appears to be 1790, not 1791 |

A look at Scotlands People does not show a marriage in either OPR's or Catholic Registers from 1770-1800 for a couple with these names. |

Thank you Beverley for adding the name of George as eldest child of Robert/Mary Anderson to the list of five children already recorded. I had not discovered his existence. |
