Some names would be useful

WW2 Army service records are not online

Hello Ann, welcome to the boards.

Regarding WW1, about 65% of records were destroyed during WW2. If you can give us some specific details of who you're trying to find out about then we'll try to help.

Full names, and birth years would help us to try to help you

If you want WW2 info, each person's record costs £30.00, and can be applied for by the proven surviving next of kin

Only someone actively researching the family is likely to 'have ' any info. To see if anyone on GR is doing this, look in the search all trees section

If you think any of them died in the military in WWI and WWII, you can search at the CWGC site

http://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead.aspx

on a quick search just for surname Pearce with Exeter in the 'additional information' line, there were three results:

Charles Pearce son of George and husband of Amy, died in 1921

Henry Ronald Pearce son of Henry and Minnie, husband of Florence, died in 1942

William Forward Pearce son of William and his late wife

their personal and death details are in the records there
and you can search more specifically for particular people

but as others have said, if you would like help in this forum, best to give detailed info about the people and about what you want to find out
