Spanner in works mind, as going by the census AE Lane's parents taken as WJ Lane and Ella Isabella Bush, so not sure where Ms CJ Hickman fits in. I believe Ella died 1959 so strange not mentioned as mother of AEL. perhaps a dalliance.............. Oh dear could blow the tree considerably. :-( |

This article from Gloucester Citizen dated 01 May 1935 has siblings names that don't quite match. I think the brother W J is obviously William as shown on the census. Rose could be either Ida Rose or Rosina. Does confirm father as the late Mr W. |

Seems that William died soon after the 1911: |

Thank you Marie that looks very promising, not sure why Helen Louisa is not mentioned but all else looks spot on. Really appreciate your send everyone else's input. |

I'm wondering if the Doris born 1908 is a nickname for Helen Louisa? |

So if Rosina Mary Parker's mother was Davey then that family above in 1911 is correct: |

This is the 1911 that matches that baptism so not sure about it, as siblings don't match: |

Deleted last post as confused myself. Meant to say can't find a marriage between a Davey and a Parker during suitable timeline |

Bristol was in Glos in those days, but the records aren't held at Gloucester, and haven't been accessed by the volunteers who maintain the Glos site |

If you are confident that the birth reg is correct, go for that one. |
