I recently posted a request for Ruth and Wm Geo Ollerenshaw, I received loads of information, including census sheets etc. I posted this request for an elderly neighbour of mine who is trying to find where her mum and dad are buried.
She was adamant they were both buried at Carnforth, Lancs so I rang the council cemetarys dept and they told me there were no Ollerenshaws buried in Carnforth cemetery or any of the other council cemetery's. The lady there then told me to try the local churchs. I rang the nearest one or should I say contacted the vicar who is being very helpful but he also came up with nothing on their records.
Can anybody either tell me where else to try or has anybody access to any church records in the area. This means a lot to my neighbour who herself is 87 so I would be very grateful for any info that leads to find the grave. Many thanks
