Thank you Mary & Mike I have the nine childrens dates james was wrong its 1781 not 1773
as my son said he died 1839 and the last child was born 1813 did he remarry



also I have a query with Joseph b 1768 no death also Joanne b 1778 no death

I would like to know John mannell b 1733 parents if possible

Ages vary back then ... remember not everyone could count or write.

and in 1841 census, adult ages were rounded down to nearest 5 so James is recorded as only being 60, hence the approx. birthdate of 1781
