The last known address for my mums family before she got married to my dad was 39 Craven Street Birkenhead. Ellen ( Nelly ) Boswell was the head of the house as their mum passed away when my mum was 15 so, Ellen ( Nelly ) had to look after the entire family.

I do know my mum has said they used to live at 21 Oak Street Birkenhead so that makes sense. For the life of me though I don't know why my mums dad is named James & Thomas. I am know as Chrissy but my birth name is Paula, could this be the reason? Thank you so much for your help, I am on my 2 nd day so don't really know what to do to find this info. I have a year to find out though :-D

OMG!!! lol Some of these are correct my Mum n Dad .....all my grandparents had passed by the time I was born, so I am not sure of their proper names, although I am sure my mum ( Kathleen Boswell ) told me her fathers name was James.....

Hi, I am looking for both Kathleen Ferns ( nee Boswell ) & William Ferns ( mother Rose ) Kathleen had a Farther James Boswell & a mum Mary, they had Michael, Ellen, Agnes & Joseph not too sure of any more children. I think my mums mum Mary passed when she 63 suffering from a brain tumour. My dad was born in 1912 Birkenhead my mum 1920 Birkenhead they were married in 1937 & had 11 kids.
