As advised yesterday on another of your threads (marriage Kerr or Carr 1944)
http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards/board/living_relatives/thread/1343348

you need to use Scotland's People website http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/
for your Scottish research.

It is a pay to view site and reasonably priced, but you can't expect people to always use their own credits to look for info for other people. A marriage shows in 1790 that might fit what you are looking for - you can do a certain amount of manipulating of the site before you have to actually use credits, but you will be able to see the main details - date, names, place for 1 credit and for a further 5 you can download the image (£7 for 30 credits)

To save us duplicating searches, Neil, please could you tell us where you have looked?

Neil, is this the same McTavish family who feature on your Glassary thread?

If so, it's best to keep all the information on the one thread, to avoid duplication of research by the helpers.
