His Citizenship certificate is on sale on ebay for $345 US. Says he was from Ireland. |

Harold was born in Blackrod Lancashire UK in 1827.He emigrated to the USA in 1851and was naturalised in 1860.He married Theresa Y Yates from the UK.They had a son James M Mathews b.1852 and d 1910 in Charlestone W Va.Does anyone have any information on his family from there on? I am aware that Harold fought in the civil war and died in Pa in 1869 |
