I too use Ancestry but haven't had any luck finding Christopher in the 1851 census :-(

Perhaps someone with a FMP Sub could have a look on there?

Looking at other censuses I don't think this is th Julia that we are looking for

I am now trying to find details of the above Christopher (James) Mallows in the 1851 census but can't see him on A....y and wondered if he might be recorded on another site.

I would also like to find his wife Julia (nee Boxall) c1849 in the 1871 census

I think that this is her parents in 1871

1871 Census: George Boxall is recorded as a widower, aged 83, occ: Clerk, born Wellington Shropshire, inmate, in the St George Union Workhouse, Hanove Sq London
Julia Boxall is recorded as aged 40, born Milan Italy, Widow, Assistant Nurse at the Stockwell Fever Hospital St Mary Lambeth Surrey

(Although both are recorded as widowed in this census and Julia is recorded as being born c1831 these look like the same George & Julia as those recorded in the 1861 census above)

Can't see Julia Boxall (the mother of Julia E Boxall) after 1871 and I can't find Julia Boxall (the daughter) in the 1871 census either.

There is this death reg. for a George Boxall aged 85 which fits with the George Boxall in 1871 census
