I can confirm there are loads of Hicks in The Isles of Scilly -so probably is Hicks - In fact I'm going there next week if you want anything asked about locally!

Hi Family Finder thanks very much for your post and your kind offer. If anyone knows anything about the baptism of Priscilla Hicks 1814 father John c1780.please don't go to any trouble, I really appreciate your offer

Unfortunately I have still not been able to find the birth of Priscilla Hicks born Scilly Isles in 1814 , her father is John Hicks a mariner. She doesn't seem to have existed before the 1841 census where she was married to James Bacon.
