1861 Census Look up please?
Hi everyone
Can anyone please help me find my relative and his parents in the 1861 Census?
I have already found him in the 1871, 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911 censuses, but the entry for him and his two parents in the 1861 census seems to be eluding me. He was born in Deptford in 1860 and his parents were Thomas and Mary Carmichael nee Philips. His father was a ship's carpenter or ship's engineer, born in Workington in 1834. His mother was born in 1831.
Many thanks

Sorry I'm stumped. Perhaps they were in one of the wards that are missing in the 1861?

They were in Lancashire by 1862 so maybe they were there by 1861?

Thank you Alviegal, PP and Dea :-)
That is interesting to see that there are wards missing and I will have to have a look at those to see how close they are to Deptford.
The baptism of Richard is not a record I had, so thank you.
I will post on here if I find anything further myself.
Thanks again. :-)
