Hi, Please can anyone tell me how I can make an address search on any Census? (as I used to be able to do on Findmypast until its format changed)
I am a member of FMP, so please forgive me if I am doing something incorrectly.
Thanks in anticipation of any help.

Hi Andrew

The 1881 & 1911 census should have the address displayed, means you can search using just the address

I did a search of my road on fmp
Street name
Parish
Registration district

It then brought up all the residents in 1911

I also just looked up my grandparents house for 1911

Number and street....... Where it says address

Walthamstow..... Where it says parish

I find the best way to do a street search on FMP is using the main census search

Put only the place name in on the home page, then use the categories to the left of the page to get to the exact address in the year in question.

It will take time, as each category has to be 'loaded' separately, but it does work
