GlitterBaby's find looks right to me. Everything ties in with the information you give. The details are on Findmypast - right at the bottom of the image.

Hi GlitterBaby,
Yes, I have evidence that Emily was still in England at the time that Albert travelled to the West Indies. He sent her a postcard from the ship he travelled on dated 4th October 1907.

I think I must have missed seeing the Miss E. R Barker in 1910 to Nevis.

Is that record on FindmyPast?

I have been trying to find my husband's grandmother on a passenger list, and am hoping someone with "fresh eyes" could look to see if they can find her please.

Her name is Emily Rose BARKER, and she was born in 1886, at Thetford, Norfolk.

I think sometime between 1907 and 1910 she travelled to the West Indies to join her fiance, Rev. Albert George TUCK.

Albert had gone first, and I found him on a passenger list:-

Name: Rev A G TUCK
Date of departure: 3 October 1907
Port of departure: Southampton
Passenger destination port: Antigua, West Indies
Passenger destination: Antigua, West Indies
Ship Tagus

Albert and Emily married on Sept 3rd 1910 ,
At Charlestown Wesleyan Chapel in the Parish of St Pauls, Nevis, West Indies.
They both resided at Charlestown when they married.

They came back to England in 1912, after boarding the ship at St Kitts, West Indies. (I have those details)

So, I think she must have gone to the West Indies sometime between
1907 and 1910.

I have all the census info and their son's birth details in the West Indies - all that is missing is the date of when Emily went to the West Indies.
