Gins,

I think you have got him !!!!!!!!!!!

My stepdaughter had used the wallpaper stripper which made the name a bit difficult to read, but I think it is Oscar, he must have written his name when the wall was bare.!!!!!!!

I will print off the 1901 and the 1911 for her.

Many thanks,

Sally :-)

Many, Many thanks to you all for your messages.

My Stepdaughter moved into a new house and while decorating found a name and a date, we tried to make out the name but a little difficult, not only as she had used the wallpaper stripper on that wall !!!!!! first name started with an O, but only had the O !!!!! the date was 1903, second name started with a T or F I think.

Of course it may have been the person was born in 1903, but I was thinking you would put the year it was.????

I think I need to find out what date the house was built !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-S

Regards
Sally :-)

Tudor Street seems to consist of a number of Villas with their own names. Only numbers 1, 2 and 3 seem to record the numbers.

This is an address on Tudor Street on 1901 - If you browse through the nearby images you may be able to find the people you are looking for.

I can only find 1 to 6 Tudor Street in 1901.

Could the roads around it have been renamed?

There are a lot of named villas after Tudor Street and then the next street mentioned is Hartington Road.

You're not going mad Sally. I've been trying to find the information on FMP with address search and can't find it.

Now I know others have complained in the past the address search isn't working so I hope it's still the case.
