I think 'stg' on 2nd one is stealing, but as to what!!

I think it might be an abbreviation for stealing ?

The later one was a 3rd offence, the earlier his 2nd offence. But there appears to be more than 1 earlier offences - looks like he was in and out of Wakefield prison quite a bit!
