Margee I looked into that one but Caroline comes up as a dead end to my family I will say I hadn´t thought about them not being sisters as they are both from the same area. Mind even if they were step children as Turners they are direct to Alexander Turner (Uncle)
It doesn´t help that I can´t find births for either of them

Sorry, that 1891 is probably a different family, they have Florence in 1881 aged 2.

I notice on the 1881 census Esther H.J. seems to be living with the family but Florence J. is just a visitor so possibly not sisters.

I hope you don't mind me adding census details. I find it easier to work out connections this way.

For who ever wishes to try and solve it.
In one family of TURNERS I have Eliza b 1819 d 1834 Ann b 1823 d c 1891 m 1843 to Francis Adams Richard b 1824 .......maybe died 1883 Alexander b1828 d 1882 m 1852 Ellen Carnall m 1856 Ann Carnall Rosamund b 1835 d 1835
They were all born in Ridgeway Derbyshire to Robert Turner and Ann Drury.. The girls are accounted for but ............*drum roll* in 1881 Alexander living at 35 Florence St Attercliffe Sheffield has nieces Esther H J Turner 8 and Florence J Turner 1 Wadsley Yorks visiting.
Who are Esther and Florence ??? The only sibling left for them to be nieces is Richard and from what I can follow of Richard in 1851 and 1861 he lived at home a carpenter joiner his father died in 1865, Mum already dead so I think this is him 1871 workhouse chesterfield joiner ..inbecile from birth ? b1823 1881 workhouse Chesterfield joiner imbecile So I can´t see that he is their father Also I can´t find births for either of them :-S nor can I find them after 1881
Anybody fancy trying to solve it ??
PS there was a Esther Hannah J Haigh born in Doncaster in 1873 but not a Florence and I can´t tally the Haighs into it either.
