there are three births in Manchester 1953 and twins 1955 HINE

they lived at 6 merryfield Street and when lilian left she only lived near by

my nan was born in 1942 and she was 6-7yrs old when Lilian left I have just spoken to my nan and she said Lilian was from Cheetham Hill area of Greater Manchester My nan said it was Alfie or Alfred Hinds/Hines/Hynes not sure on the spelling of the surname Lilian had daughters after with Alfie I think and lilan had sisters but I don't know the names my nan says when Lilian left she was only young she remembers only that she was very pretty and blonde and young looking so I am guessing she may have been born around 1920 give or take

She may have lived with Alfie and took his surname or she may have married again to someone else

I don't see any marriage for a Lilian Carter or Thompson to an A Hinds, at least not on FreeBMD. Of course they may have stayed together without marrying.

Can you please give us an area and year of birth for Lillian.

I need help in finding more about Lilian Carter she was married to my Great Grandfather Fred W Thompson she has two children with him Sylvia Christine Thompson and David Thompson she left when my nana Sylvia was a young girl and never came back I know for a while that she lived down the road from my nana in cheetham hill Manchester I cant remember the street name but I don't think it is there now any help in finding what happened to her and if my nan has any other siblings if Lilian had any more children or remarried I am not sure but the name Alfie or Alfred Hinds not sure if the spelling is correct is who she had a relationship with when she left her children I don't know if they stayed together but as I say all or any help is appreciated
