Mary Ann Arndel. Aberdare Wales 1850

Looking for the birth of Mary Ann Arndel my great grandmother.Census 1851 shows Mary living with her parents Thomas and Francis Arndel at Baglan Glamorgan Wales aged 2 years.
Census 1861 living 8 Vaynor St Cwmdare. Surname Amdel. Aged 12 years
Mary married Peter Bromfield in 1870 at Merthyr Tydfil . V11a page 492
Mary died 14 July 1904 Aberdare Wales.
Actual birth date and birth place would be appreciated. Please excuse spelling as I live in Australia and am not familiar with the welsh language.

So she was born before they married so she could have been registered as walters or not registered at all, as there were no penalties for not doing so

Your best bet is to look for a baptism, probably under walters, but try both
