Richard Carkett. A member of a naval family who lived in Peter Tavy over two generations from 1700. In the 1764 church Glebe Terrier two fields included are specifically mentioned as "Mr Carkett fields". He appears in the Freeholders Book 1711-1715

Hi.
Thanks Cynthia for the note on how to read my reply's,.Thanks everyone for the helpful hints. A few years ago, when I started my tree, I was given details on Mary Born 1st April 1802, baptism 4 April 1802 St Andrews Church Buckland Monochoram. Sadly my friend passed away and I have lost all nthe details he gave me.
I think I have to visit the local Family Search Centre.
