John Lawrence Coates (Walsh) was born in Salford England in 1868

If you've been able to find a record of his birth Registration, how about ordering the certificate. Presumably his father be named on it?

Assuming the birth took place in SA as per the Ancestry Tree, there doesn't seem to be a record of his birth on http://www.genealogysa.org.au/resources/online-databases.html

Is there another site which shows it?

Thank you so much
His Birth was registered has John Lawrence Walsh but who every Walsh or Welsh was seems to have disappeared and a William Alfred Coates who never married his mother took over the family. All his brothers and sisters were registered as Coates Welsh

I am trying to find out which name he used when he married
His mother married a Welsh but then lived with a Coates and I am not sure which person fathered him
Any information would be a help
