There is a tree with wonderful photos of Peter and Margaret, also of some of Peter and Marjory Campbell's children. |

Yes, he was a widower on his marriage cert when he married Margaret. |

Was he married twice? He didn't marry Margaret until 1889 but he had children before then. |

Lovely lovely lovely. Thank you so much. Ive now sent an email to Dundee Cemetaries asking for the graves location. We were aware that Florence had a twin (she died aged 4 months) but we never knew her name so that's great. |

However, the daughter Florence's birth cert agrees with that Ancestry tree, though not mentioning the name Kelly: |

The following are burials from Deceasedonline, specifying the County of Angus. Are any of them relevant? |

Wow. Thank you so much for that. My relative is the son of Florence Smith who bizarrely died 31 years ago to the day. I will have a look on Ancestry to see if I can find the family who have Peter Smith in it - it may be a distant relative in Canada. |

Ooh many thanks for that. Peter Smith died when my relative was very young and my relative was born in 1928 so I can only guess that it may be numbers 2,3,4 or, at a push, 9. Ive just been told told that he was a shoemaker in Dura Street, Dundee if that helps anyone. |

hello. I am currently on hol in Scotland and an elderly relative has asked me to find the location of a gravestone for Eastern Cemetery in Dundee. However, I don't have much information to give to the Cemeteries Dept and wonder if someone could possibly do a lookup for me? His name was Peter Smith (huge groan!) who died c1930 (ish). He was possibly in his sixties. He originated from Old Machar in Aberdeen. His second wife was Margaret Lesley who possibly died first. He was probably Church of Scotland. Any help gratefully received. Many thanks. |
