The County Records Office would probably be the best place for you to look

BTW,are you sure that the man who married in 1772 was their son?

He would have been more of an age to be their grandson, unless he married very late in life, or had been married before

I wondered how you had arrived at the conclusion that the man marrying in 1772 was the son of a couple who married in 1723

You say you don't have a birth date for him, so can you say why you think his parents were the ones you say they were

If this man's son was born in 1771, who was the mother of the child?

Where was the child born? What was his name?

You are right I have got it wrong.
Start again. William E Curteis b1796 married 1820 Elizabeth Cooper b 1799.
Father Charles Curties b1775 Married 1795 Ann Evershed b ?
Father William Curties b ? Married 1772 Elizabeth Crossingham b1752.
