hi all

i have a william sweeting born about 1819 [in the 1851 census he says he was born in doncaster yorkshire]
so went looking for a baptism found one in ferry fryston yorkshire 6 aug 1819

so then found a marriage [for williams parents i hope] john sweeting married mary carr 17 march 1819 ferry fryston yorkshire

in 1851 census williams son john sweeting born 1841 derbyshire is with sarah and isaac parker as nephew
so found a marriage for isaac parker and sarah carr in derbyshire in 1831derbyshire

so all fits in nicely
but
cannot find a baptism for sarah in derbyshire where she say she is born but found one in ferry fryston
cant find one for mary who married john sweeting

but if this is all correct what happened to john and mary sweeting

there is a problem there are so it looks like 2 johns and 2 marys

john sweeting married mary carr 1819 ferry fryston [the ones i have gone on ]

john sweeting married mary in 1820 monk fryston

so is there 2 john and marys or did the first mary die and he married another one

First question! Do you know his father to be called John, from hs marriage? I assume this is him?

just dont know weather its my john sweeting who married twice or weather there is 2 john and marys

ok can anyone find a john sweeting who is a shoemaker in any of the census

dont know where he would be living

i do know his son william who married ann copson moved at some point to derbyshire and then to nottingham
