Patricia, I'm surprised that on the birth certificate of Susannah born 1908 that it didn't mention previous name of Thompson for her mother?

Regarding the attachment of images - it really is just a case of following the instructions on the message. When in the message click on "Choose File" (having first read the link What Can I Attach? to make sure your file meets the criteria). Select the file you want to attach and that's it. You do have to make sure that the file is fully uploaded when you press Send before closing that window or moving to another page.

Re: birth years on census - these aren't an exact science. The important thing is the age which in this case is correctly recorded as 2 years old for Susannah jnr. She was born late 1908 so was 2 years old at the time of census - the birth year isn't actually recorded on the census itself - it's calculated by deducting the age at the time from the year of the census, so of course you're going to get variations depending on when someone's birthday fell.

This may well be the Susannah I am looking for but there is not enough detail.

Please can anyone throw some light on this.

When I find someone with a tree Name that is the same as someone that I am looking for and I go to contact them. I am given the option to send a copy of a document.
