Thank you to everyone for your enormous help. I have come across the Ancestry tree before but am a little dubious to draw on the information due to a few inaccuracies. Once again many thanks to everyone-if there is any further information anybody finds out it will be gratefully received.

Regards Roy

Marriages Dec 1913
Smith Lydia G West Headington 3a 2060

West Richard G Smith Headington 3a 2060

So do you have the actual marriage date ?

If they married in say October and she wasn't pregnant at the time then a first birth may be in June/sept qtr 1914

Was he in WW1 if so then a bigger gap between births may occur

Well if you establish when the first one was born then by elimation of time ie the time between births then it may be possible to find the births Sounds though as if several birth certs may have to be bought

Hello all

I am researching a tree for a friend of mine. Apparently her great grandfather had ten daughters whom I am trying to find the names of. Her Great grandfather was Richard George West 1892-1976 and Great grandmother Lydia Gertrude Smith 1892-1984. Both were born and died in the Oxfordshire area (Cowley/St Clements). They married in 1913 and the problem is there were two other Oxfordshire families where a West married a Smith around the same time period. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Regards Roy
