Buying the Dyson/Jessop marriage cert would give you Edgar's father's name and find them on the 1911 census should confirm the POB.

An elderly lady, called Joan Dyson believes she is related to the above, (my grandfather deceased) but has never said more,
She is 95 i believe, and have confirmed her father as Edgar Dyson living at Skelmanthorpe near Huddersfield while single, but there are 2 persons with this name and the same age, they also both appear to have married in1919, is it possible to know which one married Emma C jessop. the one that was born in Skelmanthorpe or the one from Cumberland? and if she is indeed related to my family,
she also says she is the cousin to women who may be called Roberts living Huddersfield rd Shelley, that was my grandmothers maiden name. thanks again
