Thanks to MarieCeleste andAnnCardiff for your replies and to Cunthia.
Checked George Fred Galloway in the 1911 census in case he was their son/grandson but don't think he's connected - just coincidence as far as I can see.

Can't find anything other than the newspaper article Jean. They did marry 1 November 1831.

Thomas J Galloway and Elizabeth Beckwith were married at the British Consulate in Alexandria, Egypt in 1831 (probably November). Fathers were: Alexander Galloway of West St, London and the late Henry Beckwith of East Hall, Paglesham, Essex. This info is from a newspaper, but I'm looking for the record of the marriage. I've looked on Ancestry, the British Nationals Married Overseas on Genes Reunited and British Overseas Marriages on Find My past, all with no luck. Can anyone help please?
