thank you everyone i wasnt ignoring you,for some reason i had great difficulty getting your messages...i was just starting to panic when i managed to get back onto my messages from you all.....YES this is him...so now i have at least an army number and may be i can trace where he fought in ww1

Not sure what it is you are looking for ??

Very few WW1 army personal records survived the blitz in WW2 when the buliding they were housed in got bombed

hi can anyone give me any ideas how to find anything about albert buckley,born 1878 in salford and went to war in ww1 anf joined the royalscots reg known as the manchester scots...have looked on this web site but cant find anything...not sure if he was living in salford or hulme at the time...he did come back from the war...many thanks if you can help x margaret
