I'm sure I've looked at this family in the past - a tree on ancestry gives her father born 1851 Yardley - 1907 Brimingham who married in 1871 to Emma Russell, but a note says she was recorded as Emily rather than Emma. |

Numerous people have already said this, you need a birth certificate - it's the only way you're going to find out. There's no obvious marriage, but they may not have married - he's considerably older so could have been married previously. |

Just get a copy of the the birth cert of whichever of your parents was her child. |
