Hi,everybody. Can anyone help in finding, approx.,when Mary came to England?
She was b.c.1833(Sligo,Ireland). She married Thomas Hardy(,b.c.
1831,Durham) in Durham c.1853.All of their children seem to have
been baptised at St.Cuthbert's in Durham, under various spellings
of the Surname.
All the best,Terry L.

There are no travel records between England and Ireland as it was the same country at the time. Is she on the 1841/51 census?

Andy,Not sure if they are on 1841 Census or not.The spelling of the surname has been so varied on later records that I'm not sure of how to search it.

Can't see them 1841. My guess is the family came over 1845/7 after the Irish famine.
