Looking for possible date of Emigration for Leonard Rigby Born Bolton 1912 He is said to have gone to South Africa, I don't have his exact date of birth nor any idea when this may have been. If he did go to S Africa & Died there are there any on line records to find this ? I have been given a possible date of death (29 April 1975) but not 100 % where he died.
Any help would be appreciated.

your date of death is correct Andrew => if this is the same Leonard Rigby, the name is not unique
how did you obtain the death date?

Leonard's father would appear to be Simeon Rigby - you can get a copy of his Naval Reserve Service records here:

EDIT - This is NOT his father !! - Simeon (his father) was born c 1876 - This one born 4th November, 1896 - He could be a relative though so I will leave it here for info.

Answering an earlier question The date of death was given by one of Leonard`s Niece`s , this my Aunt still living. had the date on a list of family deaths but only said Leonard 29 Apr 1975, as I couldn't find a England & Wales death
I searched for more living relatives & found another Niece of Leonard and they said they heard he had gone to
S Africa but knew no more, except they didnt think he was married when he left, Hence my original request.
this seems to be the others travelling on the ship with him (cant find on my tree) also cant find Lydia Edna Rigby on UK records so must have married in S Africa.
