There is a tree on Ancestry has John Innis as born 1877 NSW, parents John Joseph Innis and Mary Ann Sullivan. They state the source as birth certificate but haven't attached a copy. It seems to be a well researched tree and lists all the siblings for John Joseph and all of his children (siblings to Ernest Cecil). |

Looks like Ernest Cecil and second wife Gladys Ruby may have parted around 1950. They're together on Electoral Rolls up to 1949 but separately thereafter. |

Jo, the births would be too recent to be on-line but if you add Australia to the heading as suggested one of the experts might spot it and be able to help further. |

If you do a search of marriages on NSW BMD it looks as though he may have been married twice, first time in 1923 and the second in 1933. |
