Thank you all for your help so far. I have found two possible baptisms for Mary Ann Noble. 1 On 13/05/1825 at St Mary Swineshead with parents Mary and Thomas.2 On 07/08/1823 at Wilton by Lincoln with parents Thomas and Elizabeth Would a marriage certificate help given that the fathers share the same name |

she probably did lose a few years on the 1881 Census ..................... even so, her husband is 5 years younger than her |

Also the Walter Walton Spencer above was Walter Dalton son of Mary Ann and William Dalton. |

Thank you Maddie , have been clearing out my father in laws house and found a photo saying Mary Ann Dalton on the back The daughter was also called Mary Ann so was not 100% certain who the image was of. Could not find the senior so looked for a remarriage and prior to the marriage a Thomas Spencer had been a lodger so think I am on the right track the photo shows an older woman in Victorian costume so I think it must be the elder |

I am trying to trace Mary Ann Spencer born 1825 in Newark in Nottinghamshire. In 1845 she married a William Dalton in Newark but he subsequently died in 1861, she the married a Thomas Spencer in Leicestershire in 1871 but have not been able to trace her after that. Thank you for any help you are able to give |
