George Fulstow was baptised 1777........age 76 (Uncle of Robert,...Eliza's Brother) on the 1851 census

He is abt 39yrs older than Eliza.

I would say he is more likely to be Robert and Eliza's fathers brother.

So its looking possible that Eliza Smith maiden name was Fulstow. The census said Eliza was born 1817 and the baptism said that Eliza Fulstow was baptised 26th Dec 1816.

George Fulstow would then be her brother.

This George Fulstow keeps turning up everywhere. I have just found him as a witness at Thomas Grays brother Edwards wedding.

I can't see a marriage for Joseph and Eliza

I've trawled through the Lincs PR's for Barrow on FMP from 1830 to 1837

They must have married elsewhere - if they married

Is there any chance that the George Fulston 's name could be Fulstow. The reason I ask is that Joseph and Elizabeth had a son called Edwin Fulstow Smith b 1854 and I was wondering if there was any connection there,
