Find Ancestors

My aunt was Italian from the Naples area.
Name was Italia D' Amelia (Although could be D/'Amelia.
She was born in 1926.
I have her marriage to my Uncle Arthur Hemstock (Forces records).
They then returned to the UK and lived in Hull for many years until; the marriage split and I understand Italia moved back home to the Naples area of Italy.
If anybody has access to Italian records or can trace a contact for anybody in the Naples area by the name of D'Amelia I would be grateful to learn of such information which may allow me to trace information about Aunty after she returned to her home area.. Thank you.

I do not have the marriage certificate but I found the marriage somewhere in British Nationals Armed Forces Marriages 1796 - 1905.
Possibly at one stage in Find my Past which I no longer subscribe to.
The marriage took place in Italy in 1946.
I think it was part of the Army Chaplains Returns.

You can buy a copy of the marriage cert from the GRO specifying its an overseas marriage and the form adjusts for the GRO ref
