The Judge threw the case out:

Griffiths and Nurse Ada Alice Bines, of Cardiff, were found not guilty of a charge of performing illegal operation on a young woman named Gertrude Davies. When the verdict was announced,, women rushed forward amd practically carried Nurse Bines out of court

There appears to be a Newspaper Article about an Ada Bines in the GR Newspaper Collection but I don't have access to it as follows

ran from the dock to help her. Dr. Evan Henry Griffiths (42), stated to have a surgery in Corporation-road, Cardiff, and Ada Bines (55), described as principal of a nursing home at St. John's-cresecnt, Cardiff, were committed for trial on bail charged
