I have loads of ancestors born in Lower Mitton/Stourport and I think without exception they come under Kidderminster.

However, this family seem to be split between both Kidderminster and Droitwich!

Which obviously is no help whatsoever :-(

Yes John and Harriet are her parents and my Great grand parents too.

Ellen Louisa or Lousia was my Grand mother's sister. Amy Tolley was my Grand Mother.

Ellen Louisa was an elusive member of the Tolley family and this morning I decided to try and find her again. Perhaps I am clutching at straws !!

I've looked for a birth for a Louisa Tolley, same date and area, but nothing showing, so maybe?

Like you I am going by my findings on Free Bmd and also a death later on.

If Samuel J beddoe is her Son then he married in Bridgnorth.

Cleobury Mortimer is not far from Bridgnorth.

I suppose the 1911 may answer some Questions !!

If she was born in Stourport her birth would have been registered in Kidderminster district which makes me think you have the wrong one. This could be a possible.

Could someone help me to find an Ellen Louisa Tolley. She was born in Stourport on Severn, Worcestershire in late 1879.

On an index of 1901 there is an Ellen in Aston, Birmingham of the same age.

Would this be here? Could someone check for me please?

I would like to progress further as I think she married a gentleman named Beddoe and then lived in Cleobury Mortimer.
