Thank you. I have tried the Search but haven't found anything yet. Peder's father, Peder also was born in 1820 in Vestre Moland,and his mother Tomine Syvertsdatter was born in 1821 in Birkenes. The information I have comes from the Lillesand 1875 Census at Tingsaker.

Yes, that is my family! My great grandfather, Peder Severin Pedersen b. 11 Jul 1846, came to New Zealand in 1868 according to his Naturalisation papers and became Peter Peterson; he married Matilda Jane Imrie in 1876; and would love to make contact with other family.
This is my first time. It is so encouraging to get such a quick response :-)

These may all be same family, but it could be that the names are as common as John and Mary Smith !

I am looking for the siblings of my great grandfather Peder Pedersen, the son of Peder Pedersen and Tomine Syverstdatter of Lillesand, Norway. It is possible that his brothers, Syvert Thorvald P. and Henning Jorgen P. went America about 1875.
