I am trying to find a marriage record for a John Pett possibly married in 1798 at St John The Baptist Egham Surrey to a Ann. Hoping this record will reveal Ann's Maiden name. |

Hello Clint, where did you find the reference to the marriage, and which sites have you already tried? |

I haven't tried contacting the owner yet they only have very vague details on their tree but they may have info they haven't posted so that would have been my next step but I'm not confident of info. |

Hi Reggie My wife is a descendant of James Pett born 1802 and I have all his details it is while trying to go further back I hit the wall with James Mother I have details of the Petts back to 1720. I am willing to accept that the record could have been lost and seeing I'm in Perth West Aust I can live with one mystery but will keep looking thank you both for your suggestions |
