there was an Archibald Alfred born 1883 Newton Abbot (places of birth often got generalized in military census records among others) but he is with parents in 1911 in Newton Abbot

I couldn't find an arrival in Canada to match the April 1912 departure that Mike posted. Checking the actual image for the outgoing record his name has been crossed off so must not have travelled.

I notice Agnes and Joseph are listed as patients in 1911 (as opposed to inmates) so most likely in the Infirmary rather than the workhouse per se.

Agnes had borne 4 children, all still alive so Ernest must be somewhere.

Next to Agnes's name in 1911 it has (crossed out but ..) married 30 yrs. 4 children NONE died ... so not looking for a death for Ernest

hi all i was trying to find ernest knight born around 1886 in plymouth to joseph knight and agnes coniam. i found him in the 1891 and 1901 census but unable to locate him in 1911 and wheter he married or had any children
