Catherine Longshaw is the closest I have got that would fit but am not convinced
Yes her William Knowles was a cabinet maker and their connection leads to Manchester area as against Liverpool area where subsequent generations congregated
I believe William Knowles did marry a Catherine but not convinced it was Catherine Longshaw
