(was on 1891 as Sarah Johnson age 43 abt 1848 where born Dlives, Devon, England Wife Greenwich, London, with Charlotte.)

Came back to look for it this morning to add some information and it has been whooshed!

Jude ............... you wouldn't believe the behaviour that some of us have been exposed to over the years.

Fortunately, the people who were the worst all seem to have left the site :-)

Hadn't thought about people simply making a buck so not really that concerned about the info supplied.

Oh, I do have a black list!

It also includes people who are rude (and that comes in many forms) and the people I suspect are doing paid research and taking a lend of our good nature.

Might be an idea to have a black list - don't even bother helping those who are so ignorant they just delete everything found ;-)

I was going out, so hadn't really looked into it, but also intended to go back to the thread when I got in.

Well, it's her loss on the Cardwell one - I had mentioned that there were some possible passenger lists for the father. I was just about to start looking into them.

Obviously isn't interested in thorough research.

I really don't understand why people do it!

I have all my threads and from time to time - like the dog with the bone - resurrect them to see if what couldn't be found two years ago is now available.

It can't just be general ignorance so I thin Reggie is correct! Does that sound like we are all turning into grumpy old men and women lol?
