Thomas and Amelia Playford (ne Burden). They married in 1874 and had the following children - William b.1878, Bessie b.1880, Alice b.1885, Edward b.1888, Frank b.1890, Kate b.1893, Alfred b.1896 and Maggie b.1900. They also had a grandson Horace G living with them on the 1901 census.

It does look as if Edward was Beckleys first casualty so I'd like to get as much as possible on him and what happened.

Please can anyone help me. I am looking for any info' on the above re. his military history + any photo's of him in or out of his uniform. His parent's we're Thomas and Amelia Playford who lived at Oakley Cottages in Beckley, Sussex. England. Edward was my Great Uncle on my father's side.
