Find Ancestors

Please can someone see if they can find Elizabeth Parker b 1836 in East Halton lincs on either of the above census.
I know she had a daughter mary b 1862 in East Halton. Elizabeth never married.

I am trying to find out who her parents were. The reason being Mary had a son called Everrett and I wondered where the name came from.

Not finding her in 1861, pretty sure she's not with her parents. She's with her widowed son-in-law Stephen Grey in 1901, but not with him in 1911.

Thanks for the 1871 census. Because her brother was Everet I would think this is the correct family. It would also be the reason Maryused the name Everet for her children.

Her brother wasn't Everet - that was her son on 1871.

Sorry, I misread your opening post, yes he was Mary's brother.

Flip that information ties in with the information I have re Stephen Grey. Although I didnt know she was living with him on the 1901.

I don't think her brother Everet's birth was registered, at least not under Parker. There is one born in Norfolk in 1866, but he died in Norfolk in 1874. Your Everet appears to die in Lincolnshire in 1876.

Mary appears to come from Ashby, which is some distance from East Halton. Or it is Ashley, which i cannot find.

I didn't know anything about Mary till today and I'm not sure where Ashby or Ashley are so I will have to look this up. I think I am going to have to look into this a bit more.
