Mistake should have read found him as late as the 1861 Census

Can anyone help please. I am looking for my GG Grandfather Dacre Walker born 1839 in Whitehaven Cumberland. I have found him as late as the1961 Census. His wife and children are not with him in the 1871 Census. He was a Stone Mason. He did not die until 1880.
