Find Ancestors

I would like to know how my gt gt grandfather John Parker born ant 1822 in Manchester was connected to the other Parker family. He retired and came to live in Accrington but according to a census is living off own means. Havent a clue what he did.

Sorry Mike but the Joseph Laycock Parker born 1883 in Accrington is the son of my gt gt aunt Elizabeth Parker. Nothing to do with Thomas Parker his grandparents were John Parker and wife Ann.

I Have just found out on a 1901 census Thomas was actually born in Airton nr Skipton which in those days was under Yorkshire now it comes under Lancashire

I am looking if anyone has his father Thomas Parker born abt 1841 in Yorkshire and his mother Sarah. I think Thomas may be connected to my Parkers.
